Hurry Up and Wait - Day 3 of 5

Devotional:
Living a life of faith means going beyond what is ordinary or expected. Jesus calls us to exceed the bare minimum, to work enthusiastically for His Kingdom. This is not just about feeling good but about giving our best effort in service to Him. As we wait for Christ’s return, we are challenged to practice our faith actively and passionately. By doing more than what is necessary, we reflect God's love and grace to those around us, making a significant impact for His Kingdom.

“Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless.” —1 Corinthians 15:58

Reflection Question:
Where have I been doing the bare minimum—failing to work enthusiastically and not engaged in the mission of Jesus and His Kingdom?

Prayer:
Lord, inspire me to go beyond the ordinary in my service to You. Fill me with enthusiasm and passion for Your work, so that I may glorify You in all that I do. Help me to see opportunities to serve others and to act with love and generosity. Amen.
