At eighteen, I felt God inviting me to walk in a life of vocational ministry. After graduating from Hardin-Simmons University in 1978 with a B.A., I then continued to Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary where I earned a Masters of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry. I have over thirty years of experience in church work and my hero is H.A. Hanks, a former boss, friend, and mentor. I admire the way he lives out his faith in Jesus with great humility and courage. I also love to read, fish, and cherish time with my grandchildren.
